Steve Weatherford backtracks from his comments regarding Mark Sanchez
Former Jets and current Giants punter Steve Weatherford said that Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez hasn’t matured as a quarterback the way people would have thought.
Weatherford backtracked via Twitter in an attempt to clear up what he was trying to say.

I’m sure Weatherford didn’t mean to try to insult Sanchez, but his comments did come across that way.
