Georgia Tech wide receiver Stephen Hill told Sirius XM NFL Radio he has held a visit with the Philadelphia Eagles. Originally projected as a third or fourth round draft pick, Hill has rocketed up some analysts’ draft boards, following his magnificent combine workout where he ran a 4.36 40-yard dash and wowed observers with his pure athleticism. NFL.com went as far as comparing him to Randy Moss in terms of running deep routes.
A junior, Hill decided to leave college early in order to enter the 2012 NFL draft. Last season, at Georgia Tech, Hill posted 28 receptions for 820 yards and 5 touchdowns. In addition to the Eagles, Hill has also had visits with the Ravens, Jets, Titans, and Vikings.
There is an outside chance that Hill could be a late first round or early second round choice for a team looking to acquire a legitimate downfield threat. At just 20 years old, the 6’4″ 215-pound wide out is considered to be a work-in-progress with regard to route running.
