Rex Grossman believes the Redskins will win the NFC East
Washington Redskins quarterback Rex Grosman came out with a bold statement today during an interview with CSN Washington by claiming that the Redskins will win the NFC East.
“We’re fine being the sleepers right now,” said Grossman.
“We’re just waiting in the wings ready to take over the NFC East. Nobody’s talking about us, it’s right where we wanna be. You look at us from top to bottom out here, there’s a bunch of great players. And we don’t need people saying we’re the best right now. But when it’s all said and done, I really feel like this team’s gonna win the [NFC] East.”
That really sounds great, but does he believe it? I sure hope not, because if he does he needs his head checked. The Redskins will be lucky to duplicate last season and get six wins this season as they rebuild they roster.
