PFZ's NFL Week 5 Game of the Week Preview
This weeks PFZ game of the week is the Minnesota Vikings at the New York Jets.
This game just got a lot more interesting since star wide receiver Randy Moss was traded from the Patriots to the Vikings. Below are my keys to the game for each team.
The Vikings will win if they establish the run with Adrian Peterson and then use some play action and stretch the field with Randy Moss. The running game will set up success for Percy Harven and Visanthe Shiancoe to do some damage with underneath routes.
The Vikings defense will need to shut down the Jets running attack and force quarterback Mark Sanchez to beat them through the air.
The Jets will win if they can run the ball and get the pressure off of Mark Sanchez. LT and Shonn Greene will need to get the run game going to enable Sanchez to use some play action.
On defense they will need to shoot the gap and disrupt Adrian Peterson in the backfield before he can get a head of steam and burst down the field.
The Jets and Vikings are very similar because they each have a strong running game and can stretch the field with their receivers. This game will come down to execution and I will have to pick the Jets to win this one since they are home and they are the hotter team right now.
