Giants lose Goff for the season
According to ProFootballTalk.com, New York Giants linebacker Jonathan Goff has a torn AClL and will miss the 2011 season.
Goff seemed to be having a pretty impressive training camp and preseason has shown some signs of development.
The Giants are expected to sign Kawika Mitchell who was a starter on their 2007 Super Bowl championship team.
UPDATE: Goff hurt his knee in a collision with a teammate late in Monday Practice.
UPDATE: The Giants haven’t signed Mitchell, they plan on bringing him in for a work out.
