CFL's best pass rusher likely signing with Eagles

According to Adam Caplan of Fox Sports,  the Philadelphia Eagles are expected to sign defensive end Phillip Hunt who led the CFL with 16 sacks this past season.

Hunt played college football at the University of Houston and went undrafted out of college.  He has been playing for the CFL’s Winnipeg Blue Bombers since 2009.

Hunt is expected to take a physical today and sign a three-year contract with the Eagles. 

The  Cleveland Browns, Houston Texans, Minnesota Vikings and New England Patriots all showed interest in Hunt who only has until February 15th to get signed by an NFL team due to CFL rules.
