Report: Bucs will likely release Kellen Winslow, sign Dallas Clark

According to Stephen Holder of the Tampa Bay Times, the Buccaneers are expected to released tight end Kellen Winslow and sign Dallas Clark, sooner rather than later. It doesn’t come as a shock that the Bucs will likely released Winslow, since it seemed very unlikely that any teams would make an offer for him.

Broncos may end up dumping Knowshon Moreno

Bill Williamson of ESPN.com believes there’s a good chance that the Denver Broncos could end up moving on from running back Knowshon Moreno after an utterly disappointing career so far. This past season Moreno tore his ACL, which is clearly not good for any NFL player, nevermind a running back.  He’s also had some off [...]

Nate Clements may not be with the Bengals much longer

According to Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer, there’s a good chance that Cincinnati Bengals rookie cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick could end up starting at left corner right away. Everything will depend on whether or not the Bengals are willing to pay Clements $5.5 million in 2012.  If they feel like Kirkpatrick can start as a rookie, [...]

Aaron Kampman is likely done in Jacksonville

With the Jacksonville Jaguars re-signing defensive end Jeremy Mincey and the recent acquisition of rookie Andre Branch in last weekend’s draft, there’s a good chance that veteran Aaron Kampman could end up being released. Kampman has undergone three surgeries over the past three years.  I hate to say it, but it looks like injuries have [...]

Cowboys reportedly might have Morris Claiborne return kicks

According to ProFootballWeekly.com, the Dallas Cowboys may end up having rookie cornerback Morris Claiborne return kickoffs this season, which is a big risk since it would increase his chances of getting seriously injured. Most teams don’t have starting players return kickoffs or punts, but the Cowboys seem to feel  the risk is worth it for [...]

Report: “Good chance” Cowboys draft Michael Brockers

According to Tim MacMahon of ESPNDallas.com, there’s a “good chance” the Dallas Cowboys will draft LSU defensive tackle Michael Brockers. Brockers is a very talented prospect, but he won’t help the Cowboys pass rush and that’s one of their big needs on defense aside from help in their secondary.  People often compare Brockers to Marcus [...]
