Seahawks decline “Hard Knocks” invitation

The Seattle Seahawks have stated that they were approached about being featured in HBO’s Hard Knocks, but they’ve decided to decline the invite. It seems like every team that gets approached about “Hard Knocks” ends up declining and I can’t say I blame them.  After watching the Jets a couple of years ago, I think [...]

Although the NFL player’s union is not happy about it for reasons discussed here, the NFL voted to make leg and knee pads mandatory starting in the 2013 season. While any change in working conditions is a collectively bargained issue and would need to be first discussed with the player’s union, the league can vote [...]

According to NFL.com, a source close to the Seattle Seahawks, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Kellen Winslow Jr. will be used as a rotational player for the team. Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher is currently sitting out this week’s OTA’s and may not participate in next month’s minicamp as well.  He’s still recovering from a sprained MCL and PCL in his left knee that he suffered during the Bears’ 2011 season finale. Lions’ Leshoure has laidback response to drug arrests

Detroit Lions’ sophomore running back Mikel Leshoure doesn’t appear to be a man who is sorry for letting both himself and his team down by getting arrested for marijuana possession twice in less than a month (Feb. 18 & March 12) and he makes no excuses for feeling that way. And why should he? From [...]

Eagles QB Coach wants Vick to stop doing too much

Many of us have watched an Eagles game and thought to ourselves, “What is Vick doing?! He’s running this way, he’s running that way, and he has no one there to back him up! He’s going to get himself killed, or worse (depending on whom you ask), kill the play!” Well it just so happens [...]
