Belichick doesn’t regret Manningham decision, jokes about Gisele

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick thought he’d take some time out of his day at this week’s pro-am tournament in Pebble Beach to defend his decision to have his defense focus on Giants wide receiver’s Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz, rather then Mario Manningham. He also added in a little joke about Tom Brady’s [...]

Giants already thinking about a repeat

New York Giants linebacker/defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka truly believes the Giants have the ability to repeat next season. “If we won it this year, there’s no doubt in my mind that we can,” said Kiwanuka. “We’ve just got to get in the playoffs. That’s it.” Kiwanuka and the Giants know what it’s like to win [...]

Giants will likely lose Manningham in free agency

After Sunday’s Super Bowl, the New York Giants will need to start thinking about their roster for the 2012 season, like the rest of the NFL.  There’s one player in particular that I believe they won’t be able to re-sign and that’s wide receiver Mario Manningham, who’s contract is up in March. The Giants simply [...]

Giants pose a big problem for the 49ers

Going into tomorrow’s NFC Championship game,  the New York Giants pose a big problem for the San Francisco 49ers’ defense. I truly believe the Giants have too many weapons for the 49ers defense to handle.  You might think I’m crazy because of how they beat the Saints last week with the weapons they have.  But [...]

Hakeem Nicks suffers ankle injury in practice

New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks was limited in practice on Friday after rolling his ankle.  He’s been officially listed as probable for Sunday’s NFC title game against the 49ers.  It would be a surprise if he isn’t able to play. “Rolled it a little bit,” Nicks said. “Same one. Same one I rolled [...]

New York Giants wide receivers Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz plan on going sleeveless during Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers.  The temperatures are expected to be in the 20′s,  but Nicks and Cruz felt like the Giants receivers were hesitant during their week 15 loss to the Redskins because of the cold weather. Osi back at practice, Nicks and Manningham out

According to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News,  Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora will practice on Wednesday.  This is a big surprise since it seems very unlikely he’ll be playing this week.  But I guess you never know,  we’ll have to see how the week goes for Osi. Another surprise is that wide [...]
