Visanthe Shiancoe could be interested in returning to the Giants

Free agent tight end Visanthe Shiancoe has spent the past five seasons with the Minnesota Vikings.  Before then, he was with the New York Giants for the first four years of his NFL career.

Now according to Ebenezer Samuel of the New York Daily News, Shiancoe might be interested in returning to the Giants now that he’s a free agent.

The 31 year-old Shiancoe has been a solid tight end during his career and could help stabilize the Giants at the tight end position along with the recently acquired Martellus Bennett.

He didn’t have a good season last year anyway. Besides, I think Rudolph should’ve been playing more than he was. Now, he should be the starter if Visanthe leaves.

Would be happy to have him in the fray for the Patriots, but I doubt the Pats pay up for him. They only gave up a 3rd for Corey Dillon, who was way more durable and productive than Stewart. He’d be a great 10 carry per game guy though…tough call.
