New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow drew a crowd of about 15,000 people in Georgetown, TX on Sunday for an outdoor Easter service. He encouraged those who attended to be outspoken about their faith.
“It’s OK to be outspoken about your faith,” Tebow said.
Tebow said that he doesn’t mind the attention he receives from the convictions he has as well as his “Tebowing” pose that he does before every game, that clearly displays his faith in God.
Tebow also took a dig at pro athletes who don’t believe they’re role models to kids.
“Yes you are. You’re just not a good one,” Tebow said.
I agree with Tebow, I think a lot of athletes that are in the public eye would rather try to avoid being a role model, but in the end, they don’t have a choice.
