Free agent wide receiver Santana Moss appeared on Sporting News Radio and made it clear that as soon as the NFL lockout is over he wants the Washington Redskins to not waste anytime in re-signing him.
“If you’re going to sign me, sign me & lets go,” said Moss. “If Redskins going to sign me let us do it real quick.”
A lot NFL personal have been indicating that once the NFL lockout has ended, free agents will be signed quickly and Moss is reiterating to the Redskins that he wants them to re-sign him. Because if they end up hesitating, he probably won’t end up staying on the market very long so he can get on a team and learn a new offense in time for the season to begin.
Moss has been the Redskins’ number one receiver for years now and they will need him to come back and help mentor the younger receivers like Anthony Armstrong and Leonard Hankerson.
