Redskins sign David Anderson, cut Donte Stallworth

The Washington Redskins  signed free agent wide receiver David Anderson on Monday to try and provide some kind of spark to their offensive passing game.

Anderosn spent the past six seasons with the Texans,  where he played under current Redskins offensive coordiantor Kyle Shanahan when he was a coach for Houston.

In order to make room on their 53-man roster,  the Redskins have released wide receiver Donte Stallworth.
