Free agent NFL quarterback Michael Vick believes he has one more season left in him, but has also made it clear that he would be fine if he never plays again.
“I’m 35, about to turn 36,” said Vick, via the dailypress.com. “I’ve got one more dedicated season in my blood, if somebody needs me to come in. But I’m kind of happy where I am right now. …
“I’ve got my health, I’ve got my kids, I’ve got my family. The game has done so much for me in terms of relationships, opportunities to take care of myself and my family. I’m just thankful. I give all the credit to God.”
Vick looked OK last season for the Steelers when he came in for Ben Roethlisberger, but let’s be honest, he’s not going to be able to take a team to the playoffs if their starter were to go down with an injury.
I would be surprised if an NFL team were to sign Vick this offseason.
