According to Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network, the Buffalo Bills and quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick are closing in on a contract extension.
After bouncing around the NFL from team to team throughout his career, it seems that Fitzpatrick has really found a home in Buffalo. He really seems comfortable with head coach Chan Gailey’s spread offense, that enables him to get the ball out fairly quickly.
Fitzpatrick is having his best season as an NFL quarterback since coming into the league seven years ago. He’s passed for 1,477 yards, 12 touchdowns and 6 interceptions this season so far. He also has a career high 66 percent completion percentage.
