I had the pleasure of attending the Under Armour House of Innovation event at Grand Central Station in midtown Manhattan on Thursday.
Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, ballerina star Misty Coopeland and UFC fighter George St. Pierre were in attendance.
Under Armour Founder/CEO Kevin Plank talked about the growth of his company. 2013 was the first year they made over $2 billion dollar in revenue. It took them 15 years to make $1 billion and another three years to get to $2 billion.
The main event of the show was the unveiling of the Armour Speedform Apollo running shoe. You can check out the commercial and some photos below.
I was fortunate enough to receive a complementary pair of these running shoes from Under Armour and they have to be the lightest shoes I’ve ever put on. If it wasn’t for the laces I wouldn’t feel like I had anything on my feet.
