Woody Johnson would rather see Mitt Romney win than his Jets

New York Jets owner Woody Johnson was asked if he’d rather see his team win or Mitt Romney win November’s presidential election.

“Well I think you always have to put country first,” Johnson told Bloomberg News, via the New York Daily News. “So I think it’s very, very important that for — not only us — but in particular for our kids and grandkids that this election come off with Mitt Romney and Ryan as president and vice president.”

The way the Jets have been built by their front office, it’s pretty obvious that his team isn’t his number one priority.  They still need a quarterback, some wide receivers and a running back that can actually put some fear into opposing defenses.
