Former NFL defensive tackle Warren Sapp has a problem with the way Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh has handled the scrutiny that he’s faced with regards to people accusing him of playing dirty and taunting quarterback Matt Ryan when he was injured a couple of week’s ago when the Lions played the Falcons.
Sapp who now works for Inside the NFL and the NFL Network believes Suh needs to keep his mouth shut.
“Absolutely shut up,” said Sapp on Thursday’s Dan patrick Show.
“We’re talking about taking credit for a quarterback that you didn’t sack, you didn’t take to the ground. His offensive lineman stepped on him. Remind me, didn’t Atlanta win this game?”
Suh believes that the reason Ryan’s own offensive lineman injured him was becase of “karma.”
“I’m really trying to find the karma,” Sapp said. “The quarterback missed two plays, come back in and torched you for the rest of the game … and you don’t get him on the ground, and now it’s karma?”
Sapp also feels like Suh’s trip to the comissioner’s office was a waste of time.
“Why are you prancing all the way to the commissioner’s office and you almost ripped somebody’s helmet off?” Sapp said of Suh. “Are you kidding me? You don’t know that’s against the rules? That’s a wasted trip. … He almost ripped Jake Delhomme’s head off. That doesn’t make any sense.”Follow PFZ on Twitter @ProFootballZone
