Vontae Davis benched due to lack of consistency

Miami Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland made an appearance on Sirius XM Radio and said that cornerback Vontae Davis was benched because he hasn’t been consistent enough.
“Vontae is Vontae,” Ireland said, via Dave Hyde of the Sun-Sentinel. “He’s coming on. He needs to improve his consistency day in and day out. Sean Smith has made as big a leap as a lot more mature, a lot more serious.”
It looks like Davis is really going to need to get serious and work his tail off in order to start again.
