Vikings haven’t signed Duron Carter, giving him a try out for now

We reported earlier that the Minnesota Vikings have signed Cris Carter’s son Duron Carter.  Now that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Vikings general manger Rick Spielman told 1500ESPN.com that they haven’y signed Carter.

According to general manager Rick Spielman, one player the Vikings didn’t sign was Duron Carter, the son of longtime Vikings receiver and soon-to-be Pro Football Hall of Famer Cris Carter, who is being brought in to next weekend’s rookie camp on a tryout basis only.
