The New York Giants announced today that Victor Cruz underwent a knee scope today.
Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz, who suffered an injury to his left knee and a concussion in Sunday’s loss to Seattle, underwent an arthroscopic debridement of the knee this afternoon. The procedure was performed by Dr. James Andrews in Pensacola, Fla.
Cruz was cleared of the concussion, per the NFL’s protocol, yesterday.
The good news is that the knee procedure isn’t considered to be serious.
Giants say Victor Cruz had a debridement in his knee today. That means cartilage. Not usually a major deal. Done for year though.
