Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten practiced both on Saturday and Sunday.
Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has already made it clear that he believes tight end Jason Witten will play in Wednesday’s season opener against the Giants, after being asked if his teammate will be healthy enough after suffering a lacerated spleen just a few weeks ago.
“As of what I know, I think he’s going to, yes,” Romo said.
Today Romo was once again asked if he still believes Witten will play and he didn’t back down from his previous statement.
Romo’s comment about Witten playing Wednesday was no slip. He was asked twice and repeated it. said that’s what he sees and has been told.

Unlike Romo, I still believe Witten won’t play.
