According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, no matter what the outcome is of Sunday night’s game between the Giants and Cowboys, Giants head coach Tom Coughlin will more then likely be back next season.
Schefter was asked on his ESPN Insider blog whether or not the losing coach of Sunday’s game will be fired.
“The New York Giants are one of the most stable organizations in sports, and Coughlin is one of the top coaches,” Schefter wrote. “So even if the Giants lose Sunday night, it’s hard to see them making a change.”
I do agree with Schefter, even though the Giants have once again collapsed in the second half of the season, they’ve had to deal with so much adversity this season with all the injuries they’ve endured. I don’t see Coughlin going anywhere.
