Tom Coughlin on David Wilson starting this week: ‘We’ll see’

Giants head coach Tom Coughlin was asked today if David Wilson will be his starting running back for this week’s big game against the Broncos.

“We’ll see,” Tom Coughlin said, via Ralph Vacchiano of the NY Daily News. “As I’ve said many times, we need him. He’s necessary. He’s going to have to overcome this issue. He’s a marked man. So he’s really going to have to overcome it.”

Coughlin can quit playing games.  There’s no way the Giants are going to bench Wilson right now in favor of either Brandon Jacobs or Da’Rel Scott.  They didn’t take him in the first round last season to have him sit.

If I was Wilson I would ask to be traded.
