Tom Brady: “No one is coming to rescue and save the day”

After last night’s close win over the Jets,  Patriots quarterback Tom Brady admitted that they have a lot of work to do.

“We have a long way to go,” Brady said, via ProFootballTalk.com. “No one is coming to rescue and save the day so we’ve just got to fight through it. We’ve got to work harder and do better and try to be more consistent. Hopefully we can score more points.”

Brady is right.  If the Patriots are going to go anywhere this season they have to come together as an offense and overcome the issues they’re having.

It was obvious that Brady was frustrated with all of the miscues that went down last night and he admitted he has to keep his emotions in check.

“I have to do a better job with my body language,” Brady said. “I definitely can improve that. I wouldn’t say it’s a real strong point of mine right now so we’ll just try to keep doing better. That’s what we’ve got to do.”

Excuuuuuse ME ! Mr. Tom Brady and Bill Bilichek: You let go a man who is not injured often, very reliable, can catch the ball as a full back as a running back as a tight end and block as personal protector on special teams: His name is Tim Tebow.
Tim Tebow is a winner–and you just left hiim go??
If I were back there in N.E. I’d give you a couple smacks across the mouth.
