Despite a 2-5 start, Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley believes they’re on the verge of breaking out, according to ESPN.com.
“I feel like we’re on the cusp of being pretty good,” Haley said. “We’ve had a lot of moving parts — not that anybody else hasn’t — but we’ve had to overcome and mix and match a little bit but I do feel like we’re close to playing the way we have to play for us to win on a weekly basis.”
Haley stated the obvious by saying they need to score more points each week.
“We need to be up in the 20s and 30s more than we are in the teens,” Haley said. “That’s the bottom line when it’s all said and done.”
