Even though the New York Jets are currently sitting at 3-6, it looks like no one within the organization believes in Tim Tebow as a possible replacement for Mark Sanchez.. This is one of the reasons he’s still backing up Sanchez..
“He’s terrible,” a Jets defensive starter told the New York Daily News.
Jets left guard Matt Slauson says Sanchez is far and above better than Tebow.
“It’s not even close,” Slauson said. “All the other quarterbacks know it. I have all the confidence in Mark. We don’t really have a choice.”
Slauson doesn’t even look at Tebow as a quarterback.
“We have Greg . . . and we have an athlete,” Slauson said.
People within the Jets’ organization don’t believe Tebow can turn things around.
“Hell, no!” a starter said. “You got to keep defenses honest. You just can’t line up in the Wildcat all the time. That won’t work.”
Some people don’t believe what Tebow did with the Broncos last season can be done again.
It really sounds like the Jets really wasted their time with even trading for Tebow. Just another bad move by a poorly run organization.
