The Washington Redskins have bolted to a 3-1 start to begin the 2011 season. Now heading into their bye week, running back Tim Hightower is predicting a trip to Indianapolis for Super Bowl XLVI.
Hightower was asked by CSN Washington whether or not he’ll be having some fun this week since he has the week off.
Hightower said, “The fun will be in February when you guys are interviewing us up in Indy. That’ll be fun.”
Hightower was then told he’s making a bold prediction.
“Very bold prediction. But I’m gonna stand by it,” replied Hightower.
It’s obvious that Hightower is feeling very good about the way the Redskins have played so far this season. And I can can’t say I blame him, since a 3-1 record is very good through the first quarter of the season.
The problem I see for the Redskins is that they don’t score enough points with Rex Grossman at quarterback and they don’t have enough play makers on offense to get far in the post season.

Please they wont even make it to the playoffs they will get to a 8-8 or 9-7 record at best. The Giants are storming away with the NFC east then the Cowgirls will grab the wildcard. Giants got Seahawks 1-3 the overated Bills at home heading into the BYE then dolophins 0-4. Can you say 6-1 start.
keith do u realize u r the only girl here and the giants SUCK
Redskins who wear the jersey dont make off the wall comments like that. The skins can barely score 24 pts a game, and teams like the
saints, and 49ers, dont forget the packers are plowing thru teams and lighting up scoreboards right now. He needs to jump off the tower , and plant his feet on ground, cause the nfc east is very tough, too many rivals. ….. if they make playoffs theyll be lucky; thats what tim meant.
Maybe he can discuss the playoofs possibly in another 8 weeks, if the offense can start generating points, like 30 pts for example. Thats sorry.
