In an interview this morning with NFL Network’s “NFL AM” show, Terrell Thomas shared his thoughts on the future of the New York Giants.
According to Jenny Vrentas of the Newark Star-Ledger, the cornerback who has missed two seasons due to ACL injuries, voiced his opinions.
“But I think he has one more in him…We have a great nucleus of guys, and I don’t think he wants to give that up. That passion is still burning within him. He’s in that facility all day every day; he’s going crazy not being able to coach and watch film. He lives and breathes football,” he said.
The second-round pick in 2008 also added that the head coach of 2-time Super Bowl wins “has one more in him.”
With the Meadowlands hosting next year’s Big Game, it’d be a sweet gift for the New York fans if coach Coughlin leads the team to their anticipated destination.
And because the unpredictable game could feature two brothers, I won’t drop my jaw if the Metlife Bowl reads “Giants v. Jets” come 2014.
