After missing each of the past two seasons after tearing the ACL in his right knee, Giants cornebrack Terrell Thomas says he’s completely healthy.
“Until I get out there on the field, I truly don’t know what I can do,” Thomas said, per the New York Post. “But as far as testing-wise, I’m pretty back up to 100 percent.”’
Thomas admits they rushed things last year.
“I think last year was kind of a ‘let’s get back out there and get in right away,’ ” he said. “I think this year we’re going to take a little bit slower approach.”
Thomas hopes to play in the Giants season opener against the Cowboys.
“My goal is Week 1, without a doubt,” he said. “I know everything, so I’ve just got to get back out there, play healthy, show that I can still play this game.”
