Former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens has finally been offered a contract to play football this season. The only problem is, it’s not from an NFL team.
The Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League offered Owens a six figure deal about a month ago. As both side continue to work out the deal, it’s getting close to being finalized.
The Wranglers website says that the package that’s been proposed to Owens is between $250,000 to $500,000. It also includes an offer for Owens to become a partial owner of the Wranglers, the CEO and to play wide receiver.
The Wranglers 14-game season begins on February 25th. Get your popcorn ready!
