Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Terrell Owens told the media that he’s not focused on himself this time, he’s more concerned about being apart of a team.
“That’s what it’s all about for me now — being a part of something rather than be the center of something,” Owens said. “I understand a lot of media is here because of me, but again, I’ve changed in a lot of ways. There are a lot things that have occurred the last two years. I had a lot of time to think about things, get things in perspective.”
It sounds like Owens has finally gotten it. He seems like he understands that this is his final chance to get a Super Bowl ring. Even if he keeps a low profile and has a nice productive season, he might be able to sign somewhere else next season and prolong his career even more.
