Terrell Davis says RG3 has an arrogance about him, doesn’t know if Mike Shanahan will last in Washington

Former Broncos running back Terrell Davis was a guest on Amani and Eytan on NBC Sports Radio and gave his thoughts on Robert Griffin III and Mike Shanahan,  since he played for Shanahan during his career in Denver.

What’s really interesting is that Davis feels that RG3 has an arrogance about him that points the finger at everybody else.

Davis also went on to say he doesn’t know how Shanahan’s relationship is with Griffin, but with everything that Redskins owner Daniel Snyder gave up to draft RG3 it may not make sense to start over with a new quarterback, but rather a new coach.

I don’t really care what other players from other teams or retirees from the game, have to say about our situation here in DC. While some have valid points, damage control from the coach is a part of the game. RG3 needs the reps, he was seriously injured and operated on and is still recovering. I would limit his play time in each game and get the other QB’s reps as well. The season is over, no playoffs, so play him for a quarter, then rotate through the rest of the QB’s, I would do the same with all players at all positions. At this point it doesn’t matter if we win out or not, so get everyone some solid game time, you never know when you may need them in the future, hell you may even find some better players, God knows the OLine and Defense need fixin’.
