Stevie Johnson has a thigh contusion, Mark Anderson suffers a setback

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson suffered a thigh contusion during this past Sunday’s game against the Texans.

Bills head coach Chan Gailey believes he’ll be able to play this coming Sunday.

“He may not be able to practice Wednesday, but he should be okay for this weekend,” said Gailey.

Gailey denied that defense end Mario Williams was playing with a torn ligament in his wrist.

“I haven’t heard anything about that,” Gailey said. “I don’t know where that came from, but I’ve heard nothing of that sort.”

Gailey did announce that defensive end Mark Anderson had “a pretty good setback” during his recovery from knee surgery.

“They tell me if they end up doing [another surgery], it will be very minor, a two- or three-week deal, and he will be able to get back,” Gailey said.
