ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on NFL Insider’s that Steelers linebacker Jason Worilds could command $6-7 million on the open market.
Caplan reported that as many as “6-8 teams” could be in the hunt for Worilds, who is a 26-year-old pass rusher coming off a breakout, eight-sack season. Caplan believes it’s very unlikely Worilds re-ups with the Steelers. Worilds is our No. 18 overall player eligible for free agency. Only Brian Orakpo would be a more desirable signing at the 3-4 outside linebacker position.
If this is the case, the Steelers could have a hard time re-signing Worilds.
