Steelers rookie running back Dri Archer believes he’s already proven he can play in the NFL after breaking off a big run against the Giants last week.
“I showed that I can play in the NFL,” Archer said the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Le’Veon Bell sort of predicted Archer’s run.
“I was on the field when he made that run,” Bell said. “When we broke the huddle, I said, ‘All right, Dri, I’ll see you in the end zone.’ “
Archer hasn’t proven anything playing against apposing defenses that aren’t scheming much at all in the preseason.
