Steelers don’t know when Heath Miller will be ready to play this season

Heath Miller tore his ACL, MCL, and PCL in the Steelers’ last regular season game of the 2012 season. Nobody in the Steelers organization knows when he’ll be ready to suit up and play.

That leaves Matt Spaeth and David Paulson to battle for the starting spot in light of Miller’s absence.

Paulson is entering his second year with the Steelers, while Spaeth is rejoining the team, after spending time with the Bears.

The Steelers could be in trouble if Miller misses a lot of time.

I have brought this up on other forums and it seems everyone but me feels it’s no big deal. I thought Miller was our best receiver last year. Missing him and with Wallace gone means there is huge amount of production that needs to come from somewhere. Can Paulson and Spaeth feel that gap? This is just another huge questions entering this season.
