According to Steelers.com, third-year cornerback DeMarcus Van Dyke has a “significant” hamstring injury, which isn’t good for the Steelers who already have Cortez Allen and Terry Hawthorne nursing injuries.

Van Dyke ran a 4.28 forty at the 2011 Combine and was an Al Davis special in Oakland, but he didn’t play a single defensive snap last season in Pittsburgh. He’s no more than the No. 5 corner in Pittsburgh and is fighting for a roster spot.
