We reported over this past weekend that Vikings defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd will undergo an MRI on his knee.
According to the Star Tribune, after undergoing the MRI, no damage was found in Floyd’s knee.
Defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd never thought his knee injury was serious and now he has the negative MRI results to prove it.
“Everything is fine,” said Floyd, the rookie first-round draft pick. “It was nothing to be scared about. If I had to go back in, I could have gone back in.”
This is certainly great news for the Vikings and Floyd. They need him to step up big as a rookie this season.
