Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan told the media that Robert Griffin III could have come back into Sunday’s game against the Broncos after he injured his left knee, but they decided to keep him out.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Dr. James Andrews claims Griffin is OK.
