According to Peter King of SI.com, a story that had been floating around on Sunday night was that the Seattle Seahawks would trade up from the 12th pick to the 7th pick, where the Jacksonville Jaguars currently sit, in order to draft Texas A&M quarterback Ryan Tannehill.
King explained that he doesn’t believe the Seahawks will make the move since they already signed Matt Flynn in free agency and they’d have to likely give up a third round pick to move up and that wouldn’t be a good move.
At the end of the day, I don’t believe the Seahawks will trade up, but if Tannehill falls to them at 12, they’ll certainly take him.
