Despite being selected in the sixth round, the Seahawks coaches believe Guy can step in right away and serve as their nickel safety.
“All those things where we used Atari, this kid fills those roles very well,” Carroll said just after the draft had been completed, per Seahawks.com. “He’s a versatile player. They moved him around in the kind of fashion that we like moving our guys around.
“We’re very excited about him. He’s a very aggressive kid. He plays a lot like Atari.”
