According to Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net, the Seattle Seahawks would love to trade 12th overall pick in this year’s draft, so they can move down and take Alabama linebacker Donta Hightower.
If the Seahawks can’t move down, they’ll likely take Alabama safety Mark Barron and then move safety Kam Chancellor to outside linebacker.
Chancellor has the frame to move to linebacker since he’s 6’3″ 232 pounds, but he’s also proven that he’s a very good safety after racking up 97 tackles, 1 sack, 2 forced fumbles and 4 interceptions in 2011.
