According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Seattle Seahawks left tackle Russell Okung will miss the rest of the season and be forced to undergo six months of rehab after suffering a torn pectoral muscle during Thursday night’s win over the Eagles.
Okung was injured during a play in which Eagles defensive end Trent Cole threw him to ground in an unsportsmanlike manner. The best video of the play that we could find is here.
I wouldn’t be surprised at all of Cole ends up getting fined by the NFL next week for his reckless actions.
This is a tough break for the Seahawks and Okung since he’s the key part of their offensive line.
