Compared to the depth at other positions on the roster, the Seahawks are very thin at defensive tackle. And unfortunately for them, rookie defensive tackle Jordan Hill doesn’t have a timetable for his return to playing form from a biceps injury, reports John Boyle.
Although Hill likely wouldn’t have been in the starting lineup, he looked like he would have been their primary interior rusher on passing downs. And with Chris Clemons, Cliff Avril, Bruce Irvin, and now Hill all out to begin the season, Seattle’s pass rush will likely suffer as a result.
Hill was a third round pick last April out of Penn State, where he had 3.5 sacks last season.
