Schefter: Dr. Andrews kept RG3 from playing in the preseason, won’t do well as a pocket passer

ESPN’s Adam Schefter made an appearance on ESPN 980 in Washington D.C. and reported that Dr. James Andrews kept Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III from playing during the preseason.

Schefter also doesn’t believe Griffin will be successful as a pocket passer.

I honestly believe RG3 has been doing fine in the pocket.  The problem is he can’t afford to risk another knee injury by running the read-option.
