One of the biggest questions this offseason is whether the Minnesota Vikings will trade wide receiver Percy Harvin.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter is someone who doesn’t believe Harvin is going anywhere.
For starters, I don’t see the Vikings trading Harvin — even Rick Spielman said last week there is “no intent” to make that deal. Second, if they do trade him and they don’t get premium value for one the league’s top playmakers, then they would be out of their minds. Minnesota spent last offseason trying to find another wide receiver. It felt it was one of its weakest positions. Why would a team weak in a spot completely deplete the area?
The Vikings have to find out how to make Harvin happy. The good thing is that he’s not looking for a new contract. It seems like Harvin wants a prominent role in the Vikings offense.
