Jets wide receiver Santonio Holmes continues to sit out as he his rehabs from Lisfranc surgery and has told friends that he’ll likely miss at least the first four weeks of the regular season, according to the New York Post.
I’m still confused as to how the Jets can draft a quarterback in the first round (Mark Sanchez) and not load their roster with talent around him. It’s like they set him up to fail. It’s not good when your best player is Santonio Holmes and that’s it. Stephen Hill is still a raw talent and Jeremy Kerley is a fourth string receiver.
Now that Holmes is out, I can’t imagine what the Jets offense is going to look like.
