Washington Redskins wide receiver Santana Moss made an appearance on The Sports Fix on ESPN 980 in DC and was asked how capable rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III is in turning the Redskins around.
“It’s one of those situations where he is a young guy and at the end of the day regardless how much his skill level is better than other young guys like himself he still has to learn a lot day by day, so that’s one thing I want everyone to understand that he comes here with the big hope of turning everything around, said Moss. We are all hoping that. We all want that, but I don’t want that pressure on him as if he has to be the one. Together we have to be a team around him to help him bring us to where we have to be at. I feel like everyday we are out there all we can do is get better together and he can get better as a whole just knowing what this offense is going to bring to him.”
Griffin does have a lot to learn and while Redskins fans can celebrate the fact that they have hope, that’s still all they have. No one really knows how good he’ll be as an NFL quarterback.
