Saints' Chase Daniel broke his thumb, Greg Romeus tore his ACL
According to Mike Triplett of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, Saints interim head coach Joe Vitt stated that quarterback Chase Daniel suffered a sprain thumb and a hairline fracture. He’ll be out for the next two and a half weeks. Daniel will be ready to go for training camp.
Vitt also said that second-year defensive end Greg Romeus suffered a torn ACL and will likely be out for the season. He tore the ACL in his other knee back in 2010 when he was at Pitt.
